AR Credit & Collections Specialist AR Credit & Collections Specialist Job Description Position Title: AR Credit & Collections Specialist Department: Finance & Accounting Branch: Chino FLSA: Non-Exempt Reports to: Accounting Manager Prepared by: Human Resources Date Revised: 09/16/19Summary: The AR Credit & Collections Specialist, with direction from the Accounting Manager, will manage and maintain all credit and collections, including mechanics liens and legal matters.Essential Job Functions: • Direct credit & collections work in accordance with guidelines set forth by the Accounting Manager. • Assist the Accounting Manager with special projects and assignments. • Responsible for collection activities such as sending follow-up inquiries, negotiating with past due accounts and maintaining cash receipts • Handle and resolve escalated issues in the A/R and Billing department as needed • Establish relationships and maintain positive and productive communications with internal and external customers • Perform other duties assigned • Work mandatory overtime as neededQualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in Credit and Collections • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Sound decision making and problem solving ability • Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision • Ability to meet critical deadlines • Works effectively and collaboratively with othersEssential Job Functions:None Date Revised: 09/16/19Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to lift or pull up to 20 pounds, sit, communicate, reach, manipulate objects, tools or controls.
